Before the Race
Not for the 5K and 10K — they're open to all levels, including first-timers. The 21K and 42K cross technical, unrestored sections of the wall, so previous trail or hill experience is strongly recommended.
You must be 18 or older on race day for the 21K and 42K. The 5K and 10K are open from 16 with parental consent.
Yes — a valid certificate of fitness for trail running is required for the 21K and 42K distances. Bring it to bib collection.
Race Day
For the 21K and 42K you'll need hydration (1L minimum), a mobile phone, survival blanket, whistle, windproof jacket and headlamp. Gear is checked at random. See the Rules page for the full list.
Yes. Each distance has intermediate and final cut-offs to keep everyone safe. Runners outside the limit are redirected. Exact times are confirmed closer to race day.
Yes — fully stocked aid stations with water, food and medical support are placed every 3–5 km on all distances.
Yes, a bag drop is available at the start area and your bag is collected at the finish line.
Logistics
Gubeikou is about 130 km (2–2.5 h) from Beijing, reachable by car, train or bus. Official race-day transfers are also available. See How to Get There for full details.

Absolutely. The start and finish areas are open to spectators, and the race village has food, activities and a great atmosphere all weekend.
Registration
Bibs are personal and non-transferable. Refund and cancellation terms are set out during registration — check them before you sign up.
Distance changes may be possible up to a cut-off date, subject to availability and any price difference. Contact the organization to request a change.
Bibs are collected in person during race week (pre-race day Oct 16) with a valid ID. Times and location are confirmed on the Program page.
